How to cancel your Legal and General pet insurance?Legal & General is an insurance and asset management company founded in 1836. Along with investment and retirement products, it offers home, lifestyle, travel and pet insurance. Their policies are underwritten by Legal & General and they offer three levels of cover for pet insurance which are: Lifetime, 12 Month and Accident Only.
Lifetime pet insurance is the most comprehensive type of pet insurance as it covers a wide range of options. This policy option has a 5 Stars Defaqto rating and it provides cover for new conditions or accidents that occur over the course of your pet’s lifetime as long as the policy is renewed. There are three types of Lifetime cover to choose from and they are: Lifetime £2,000, Lifetime £4,000 and Lifetime £10,000.
The 12 months policy on the other hand only provides cover for a 12 months period; this does not put into consideration long term illnesses or medical conditions. The two levels of cover that can be selected under the 12 months policy are: 12 Month £2,000 and 12 Month £5,000.
The last policy type offered is the Accident only policy which provides basic cover for your pet. It however comes in handy in the case of an accident as a sum of £2,500 is provided to take care of the pet. Other services like access to the Vet Finder service, Legal advice line, a bereavement helpline and pet funeral cover are also provided. The insurance policy is recommended as they offer a wide range of services to suit the budget of the policyholders and they have the financial capacity to pay out claims.
